Katherine Priest (Silver by the Sea) is a local jeweller from Ash in Kent. She studied her craft in silversmithing and goldsmithing at UCA Rochester, Kent; and then specialised her hand skills and professional practice at Bishopsland Workshops in Berkshire. Katherine's collections have been exhibited nationally. Gleaning inspirations from the coastline, Katherine selects sand, shells and sea glass from local beaches. By adopting a traditional sand casting technique, Katherine has incorporated these pieces into her hand crafted, sterling silver creations.
